    Terms and Conditions

    Effective Date: March 1, 2026

    These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern all services provided by Covenant Moving & Logistics, a trade name (DBA) of Massey Consulting & Services Group, located at 2416 Lafayette Ave, Abington, PA 19001.

    By booking services, submitting a quote request, making payment, or using our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.

    1. Company Information

    2. Booking & Deposits

    A 10% non-refundable deposit is required to secure and reserve your scheduled service date.

    • The deposit confirms your time slot.
       
    • The remaining 90% balance is due upon arrival, after the workload is confirmed and verified as accurately represented by the customer.
       

    Failure to remit payment as agreed may result in cancellation of services.

    3. Payment Terms

    Accepted payment methods:

    • Cash
       
    • Cashier’s Check
       
    • Venmo
       
    • Zelle (transactions under $1,000 only)
       
    • Credit/Debit Card
       

    All balances are due upon crew arrival and workload confirmation unless otherwise agreed in writing.

    Chargebacks initiated without first attempting resolution directly with the Company will be considered a breach of this Agreement.

    4. Pricing & Additional Charges

    Base pricing is determined by the estimated scope of work provided by the customer. Adjustments may be made upon arrival if the workload differs from the original estimate.

    Additional charges may include, but are not limited to:

    • Long Distance Fee: $2.00 per mile beyond the first 20 miles
       
    • Long-Distance Travel: Applies beyond 50 miles
       
    • Fuel Charges: Included in base pricing
       
    • Stair Fees: Charged per flight of stairs
       
    • Heavy Item Fees: Applied to items requiring special handling (e.g., oversized furniture, equipment, safes, etc.)
       

    Failure to disclose heavy items or special conditions may result in additional charges or refusal of service.

    5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

    Customers must provide at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellation.

    • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a $325 cancellation fee.
       
    • Deposits are non-refundable.
       
    • Same-day cancellations may result in forfeiture of deposit plus applicable cancellation fees.
       

    Rescheduling is subject to availability.

    6. Customer Responsibilities

    The customer agrees to:

    • Provide accurate descriptions of inventory and access conditions
       
    • Ensure clear and safe access to property
       
    • Disclose all heavy, oversized, or specialty items in advance
       
    • Secure parking permits or building access if required
       
    • Ensure all items are properly packed unless packing services were purchased
       

    The Company reserves the right to refuse unsafe, hazardous, or undisclosed items.

    7. Prohibited Items

    Covenant Moving & Logistics will not move and reserves the right to refuse:

    • Firearms
       
    • Ammunition
       
    • Hazardous or flammable materials
       
    • Cash
       
    • Jewelry
       
    • Perishable goods
       
    • Live plants
       
    • Pets
       
    • Personal safes
       

    If such items are discovered, service may be halted immediately without refund.

    8. Damage & Liability

    We provide Basic Valuation Coverage only.

    Basic coverage is limited and does not constitute insurance. We strongly recommend that customers obtain independent third-party insurance coverage for high-value items.

    • We do not guarantee against damage.
       
    • Claims must be submitted in writing within 72 hours of delivery.
       
    • Failure to submit a claim within 72 hours constitutes acceptance of delivery condition.
       

    We are not liable for:

    • Pre-existing damage
       
    • Damage to items packed by the customer
       
    • Mechanical or internal damage to electronics
       
    • Natural wear and tear
       
    • Damage due to improper packing by customer
       

    9. Delays & Force Majeure

    Covenant Moving & Logistics shall not be liable for delays caused by:

    • Weather conditions
       
    • Traffic
       
    • Road closures
       
    • Mechanical breakdowns
       
    • Acts of God
       
    • Government restrictions
       
    • Events beyond reasonable control
       

    Estimated arrival times are not guarantees.

    10. Website Use

    Our website allows for:

    • Online quote requests
       
    • Account creation
       
    • Online payments
       

    By using the website, you agree not to:

    • Submit false information
       
    • Interfere with system functionality
       
    • Attempt unauthorized access
       

    We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for misuse.

    11. SMS & Communication Consent

    By providing your phone number, you consent to receive:

    • Service-related text messages
       
    • Appointment confirmations
       
    • Scheduling updates
       

    We do not send unsolicited marketing messages.

    Standard carrier message and data rates may apply.

    12. Dispute Resolution

    Customers agree to first attempt to resolve any disputes directly with Covenant Moving & Logistics.

    If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

    Both parties waive the right to participate in class-action claims.

    13. Limitation of Liability

    To the fullest extent permitted by law, Massey Consulting & Services Group and Covenant Moving & Logistics shall not be liable for:

    • Indirect damages
       
    • Consequential damages
       
    • Lost profits
       
    • Emotional distress claims
       

    Liability is limited strictly to the Basic Valuation coverage provided.

    14. Governing Law

    This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

    15. Modifications

    We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website and become effective immediately upon posting.
